“Goodbye to kindergarten” event took place at Gyumri V. Achemyan Drama Theater on June 17, 2015, hosted by Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan. An event that has already become a tradition caused a great excitement for children and their parents. 827 children from 24 Gyumri preschool institutions presented their traditional, modern and classical style dance performances. Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan congratulated the children, teachers and parents for the work they had done, underling the importance of the role of the kindergartens for children and wished them success for the future.

 On June 15, the representatives of Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament met with the Peace Committee of Armenia during the “One Road, One Belt ”, conference, after which representatives of Chinese delegation met also with Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan. In his speech Gyumri mayor once again emphasized the need for programs aimed at the development of the Armenian-Chinese relations, as well as among the various sectors of the economy.

 Gyumri Kara-Murza state music school celebrates the 80th year of their activities June 16, 2015. The event was hosted by Armen Hovhannisyan, the department head of projects, external relations and protocol. Mr. Hovhannisyan conveyed Gyumri mayor’s greetings and congratulations to the attendees.

 On June 15, a report concert was held by music school N7, which is under the subordination of Gyumri municipality. It was hosted by Artush Mkrtchyan the Department head of culture and youth affairs of Gyumri municipality.
