Դեկտեմբերի 7-ը նախ և առաջ ցավի խորհրդանիշ է, որն ունի քառորդ դարի պատմություն: 88-ի երկրաշարժը խլեց հազարավոր մարդկային կյանքեր` ավերելով բազմաթիվ բնակավայրեր, կաթվածահար անելով կյանքը Հայաստանի շուրջ 40 տոկոս տարածքում: 25 տարի անց մենք այս օրը հիշում ենք խորը կսկիծով, իսկ աղետի հետքերն անջնջելի են բոլորիս սրտերից:

 On November 29, Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan received the president of boxing federation and the Member of Parliament Artur Gevorgyan. Gyumri mayor talked about the remarkable episodes in the history of boxing in Gyumri as well as about the existing problems. According to the president of the federation, in spite of all problems this kind of sport has perspective. He also mentioned about the importance of close cooperation with regional organizations.
