Today on the family international day, Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan met and congratulated a group of families, as well as visited Gyumri territorial department of registrar’s office and handed monetary prizes and presents to the teachers, people with hearing disabilities, those who takes care of orphan children, large and newly formed families.
Dear citizens I warmly congratulate you on Family Day, which is the best opportunity to touch upon once again to the maintenance of family traditions and their problems.
The state is strong with its firm families, and it’s not a secret that the Armenian families have played and are playing major role in stabilization of the state at all times.
The Armenian people give importance to the Armenian hearths and families.

I heartily congratulate you on the occasion of May 9 and wish you good health and all the best. 69 years ago today, our hero fathers of the Soviet multinational army, forced Nazi Germany to sign a surrender and declared the end of the most bloody war of human history.
May 8, 2014: On the 22nd remembrance day of Shushi liberation day, Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan visited the grave complex center of the victim who fell during the Artsakh liberation war, located in Gyumri “Shirak” cemetery and paid respect to the victims of the memory of the freedom fighters. The mayor also congratulated the warriors on the occasion of the land keepers’ day.
