Today, Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan received the V. Spivakov Charitable Foundation “Moscow meets the friends” festival laureates, who represent Gyumri painting and arts schools. During the festival days the participants’ works were presented in the exhibition halls, where some of the teenagers were awarded with laureates. The mayor Samvel Balasanyan congratulated the young participants and the pedagogues for keeping Gyumri’s honor high and noted that he prioritizes the serious achievements of youth in Gyumri’s cultural life, which is a great base for developing specific spheres of culture.
In their turn the pedagogues thanked the mayor for his continual attention and support, at the same time assuring that there will be many occasions of this kind, since there are many talented and prospective youth in Gyumri.
At the end of the meeting Smavel Balasanyan personally handed the laureates, the medals, the award and the acknowledgement certificates.
