On November 14 Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan accepted members of NGO’s related with disabled people. They presented to the mayor of Gyumri the network of NGOs related with disabled people. 9 Gyumri NGOs are included in the committee. Members presented the issues of concern of disabled people. The committee members posed the problems including the necessity of available conditions for them, the problem of workplaces as well as the launch of supporting programs.

Members of NGOs presented the package of proposals to the Mayor of Gyumri. Samvel Balasanyan suggested developing the package of proposals in the appropriate department and presenting it to the discussion of Council of Elders. The mayor highlighted the unification of NGO’s and its contribution to the increase of work efficiency as well as suggested the committee members to clarify the exact number of disabled people in Gyumri. Samvel Balasanyan welcomed the organization of events within the framework of ''Disabled people’’ and in the honor of protection of their rights. The events are going to be held from November 15 to December 15.
