I was just informed that the doctors were unable to save Seryozha Avetisyan’s life. I am sure that everything was undertaken for saving the little boy’s life after the shooting of six family members in their home Gyumri on January 12. The only comfort for everyone after this brutal slaying was Seryozha Avetisyan, the little boy the entire nation was praying for.
On my and Gyumri municipality behalf I am sending my condolences to the family of the dead and all Gyumri residents and to all who shared this tragedy with us.
I convey patience and strength and expect the strictest punishment for the perpetrator.
