Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan received Russian Federaton Domodedovo city delegation on October 3rd 2014, led by Nikolay Danilenko also hosted by the honorary council of the Russian Federation in Gyumri Evgeni Konishev. Samvel Balasanyan first greeted the delegation and expressed his hope that the forming friendship relationships will have great prospects between the two cities, in particular considering beautiful cultural and sports traditions of both of the cities. In his turn, the head of Russian delegation Nikolay Danilenko thanked the mayor for his warm welcome and prioritized the strengthening of relationships between two cities. Both sides prioritized the presence of Gyumri’s airport in business relationships. The delegation was in Gyumri for a three-day preliminary trip during which signing a memorandum is expected.
