A citywide Saturday cleaning and tree planting kicked off in Gyumri, April 19. Over 3000 trees and 1200 plants were planted around the city. Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan considers the citizens active participations important as well as the need to provide with further care of them. The mayor also visited different parts of the city where tree planting and cleaning works were being undertaken.
